Omega 8000 - Now down to $460!

Come on, I know there's someone out there that's just dying to try this great detector! It's just 8 months old and is yours for the now reduced price of $460. Comes with the 11" DD coil and new headphones, and shipping to the lower 48! M/O or paypal. I can get it in the mail today!

with only the one coil I think it might be a little high
I'm looking for one for my wife.
But for me with the one coil I'll need a little better price.
No disrespect meant.

This is a six-month old detector. The dealers are selling them for $599, with one coil. What do you think would be a fair price?

$460 is an excellent price for that machine with the DD coil. I'd rather have this machine at 460 than the 399 machine with the stock coil, if in fact you got one at 399. Fisher requires that their dealers sell a new Omega for no less than $599.

I agree with you Shenandoah Digger and this type of reply has happened to me in the past. I'm not calling anyone a fibber but it seems to me some think it's a way for them to get a lower price. All it does it make the seller feel bad and doesn't help when a few others believe them and decide they were right.
If it is true then post a picture of a real (not a fabricated) receipt and give the name of the Store just in case someone else wanted one in the area or even drive a ways to get one.
Like the lady who bought a brand new Omega at W-Mart cause it was on the Clearance Rack for 1/2 price only to get to the register to find out it was only $20 !!! She had the nerve to post it and not prove it, just a person who wants to inflate there ego and deflate yours.
If that were a true story then why didn't she buy them all ??? I would and I believe anyone would cause there are no limits to walk in customers. In fact I wouldn't just buy them all I go so far to ask the Manager if he or she had any more in the back and buy them as well !!!
Kind of like Beezid saying they auctioned a brand new car for $500...do you believe that? Does anyone? Do you know anyone that did?
Your price is fine and it's what you want for your Omega then let replies like that roll of your back like water on a duck.
If there's anyone that disagrees with me then post it and prove it to everyone. And if you can't then go inflate your ego somewhere else, keep your deal to yourself where it truly belongs. Happy Trails and Happy Hunting to All, Woodstock

I just bought a new Omega 8000 for ?????? at a local Sports Store.[/quote]reltolbert

I don't think the classifieds is an appropriate place to post this when a member of this forum is trying to sell their detector.

Again I agree Marcomo and replies to posts in that manner should be able to be removed by the poster of the add and not have to wait until the responder removes them themselves as it now appears has happened here.
This is as bad as a schemer's on Craigslist and we need to have the right as members to protect our posts for people who do it. That is the reason I'll call out anyone who does this. The big $399 deal at the sport store reply was only there to damage the poster's add. If this deal was really a fact than the replier already had what he wanted and had no reason to respond if they weren't interested and did it to fill his or hers ego and nothing else. Happy Trails, Woodstock

I can't help but feel somewhat responsible for this, and if so I am sincerely sorry. As I said before I meant no disrespect. Maybe I should have simply responded in the Members Only Messaging.
I was unaware that the omega was available with one coil I thought they all came with at least 2 coils. I recently bought one on here for a price( won't mention but you can look it up) it came with 2 coils and other stuff for what that's worth.
So I, again read, I, thought the price was a little high.

Again maybe I should have said so in the Members Only Messaging.
DaveNV I am sorry.

They have been sold recently new, with 2 coils and free shipping, for $499. Fleabay, with buy it now.

Your price may be a bit high for an 8 month old detector with only the 11" DD coil.
