Omega 8500 video

This was just a short hunt at a newer sports field. Did not expect to find any deep or silver coins but you never know. This will at least give you an idea how it operates and what it sounds like.

Thanks for another video DirtFishing! Your videos are great with just the right amount of explanation of what's going on. The 8500 seems a lot more stable than any of the 8000's.

As always your videos are realistic, and informative...

Bill thanks for your video.

What's your personal assessment of the unit?

I had an early 8000, and it was a good unit, albeit not too deep in my dirt (I understand the later software revs were deeper). The 8500 has a LOT more features, I'd thinking maybe to sell my wifes EuroTek Pro and get the 8500 as I can use the ETP coils :)

Thanks and HH,
Brian

Kind of interested to hear about depth, myself. My version 5 I had did appear to have a little more depth then the first Omega I had. Don't know what that version was, but one of the earlier ones. And, it did have some emi issues where as the version 5 ran quiet almost everywhere. HH jim tn

Airest seems about same as verson 5/6. In ground about 3 inches less just like before. Max 8" buried dime and 10" quarter. AM however is deeper tHan old omega. Doing final testing tomorrow then selling it and gonna test the ultra4 coil on cablas treasuretek.

Thanks Craig. 8" dime in the ground was what my last Omega was......on its best day(s). HH jim tn
