What's the smallest gold items anyone has found with the Omega or has anyone found any small gold jewelry items, rings, ear rings,chains,pendants,etc...? and if you have what coil were you using?

The omega is a great small jewelry detector however the G2 may be more what you want if that's what you looking for. It will hit the smallest of jewelry! Omega is more of a coin machine.

I did find about a dime size 10k heart that had the loop for a chain on it. If I remember correctly I had on the 10" coil and the heart hit in the foil range. I was in a park wood chips spot and normally dig anything that chirps on such spots. I feel the Omega will hit small gold items, but probably not at great depths if one is willing to dig those small types of hits. HH jim tn
