Omega Finds Gold Ring

Sven

Well-known member
Hunted the beach in all metal today, cranked up the sensitivity to about 88, somewhat noisey-busy but, could hear the targets thru the noise.
Dug lots of itsy bitsy foil always ID'd as 39, the beach is pretty well pounded to death. Between the pulltabs, bottle caps, some bobby hair pins
pulled out a quarter, two dimes, two nickels and about 6 pennies and the best find of all my first gold ring this year. A thin 10k lady's ring with a pink heat stone.

So the ring matches up to a lost and found ad in the local paper:

My god daughter lost a very setemental ring that i passed down to her from my 16th birthday for hers, she lost it at the waterfront beach, if you find it please return it to me, it has a pink heart and is yellow gold,

Guess I should do the right thing and let them know I found it.....doing this good deed should bring me luck next water hunt.....

what number dig the ring hit at

I wasn't really paying attention , was wondering myself after I dug it.
But any thin gold ring and this one that I air tested came in around 55-56

Kudos to you Sven, its nice when you find a lovely ring like that and then see the advert in the local paper and can return it to the proper owner,it rarely happens but when it does it makes you feel 'fantastic' and you have made 2 people very happy into the bargain.

If i was you i would send the image and the story into Teknetics

Congrats on a nice find!! You are gonna make two people very happy by returning it. WTG!!
