omega & gold nuggets

anyone ever tried their omega on raw gold? I live in north Georgia(near Dahlonega) and have panned and dredged but never tried my omega on raw gold. Just wondering if anyone else has. Thanks. garyb
 
I would think the G2 would be the best route if you are seriously persuing....but if you are just an occasional hunter the Omega does offer an all metla mode that is quite sensitve...but the freq will still be an hinderance for the really small stuff and thats what is mostly out there...

I like to have the Omega and the G2 on hand since they use the same coil's...a very nice combo to have,,
