Omega or F70 ? Which one? What are the differences?

Woodstock

New member
Hey, Has anyone had both to check against each other side to side? I had a F70 as a back up for my F75 and never really used it and sold them both awile back. Now I own a Omega and I'm very impressed on it's coin shootin'. But I'm looking for feedback on witch one YOU thinks is better or are they even? Happy Trails, Woodstock

While there can be a lot of comparisons made, my simple reply is that the Omega is lighter and nicely balanced for what it is, the controls work well and the results show it. In addition, it shares all the coils that are standard on the Delta, Gamma & G2, plus it likes the round 5" DD extremely well.

Yes Monte...I agree, it every bit a great detector and even better than I thought it would be. I'm just being courious cause somehow I feel I missed something by not really giving the F70 a chance. But I have no regrets with the Omega, I want to get a 5" coil someday if I keep it. Thanks for your reply! HH, Woodstock
