at its performance today. Got out for 3 & 1/2 hrs after it rained.Ive gone over this site with the cz's and coinstrike and never found a silver dime in this area.Today I got a 1937 merc, and 3 roosevelts, two in one hole and 4 wheats.Deepest coin was only about 6 inches. How I misssed that silver before I just dont know.Signals were a little scratchy I guess due to the hard ground? Got fooled by one rusty nail that was a iffy signal and dug a couple of deep junk items deeper then 6 inches. Was detecting in Advanced Smart find (I think its called). Not bad for the first time out in a long time with an Explorer.Im happy.it will be a few weeks before I can get out again.Going to Disney World on tuesday:))

Mike we have know each other for years and are both CZ nuts since 92. I still think a CZ coil for coil may be the deepest however my experience with a CZ over an Explorer is ten fold..I too was amazed at the Explorers ability to pull nice coins out of areas that I have pounded with many units..Heck you have a nice CZ page , perhaps its time to build an Explorer page...in any case nice finds my friend...

Thanks Dan.I think 1992 was the first and last time I found a silver coin in this area though I havent detected the place in years but have hit it good this year. Its been a long fun run with hopefully many years to go.Good to know theres still some silver out their, take care friend:))
