On Safari.........Finds 12/20/09

Unlike people in the east, we in Missouri are snow free, so I managed to get out today for a couple of hours. Still learning the language of the Safari, but I pulled a few from a lawn of a 1912 house. Missouri & Kansas tax tokens and a nice 1901 Indian. All were not deep, the Indian was 5 inches and the TID said 33. Was pretty conservative on my settings, still using "Training Wheels" High trash, sens 16, Coin Mode.Used the 8" coil. Look forward to getting out again soon.

morelic55, I am over near Tulsa, Ok and I thought we were snow free until we got 9" dumped on us and it's been here for a week! Temps forecast to go down to near zero tonight with snow flurries! It must be global warming causing it? Onus

Yea Onus, this weather sucks, I just got a new X1 Sunray inline probe from Chuck at Indian Nations and all I can do is test it in the house. Looks like this cold spell is gonna be here for awhile...

In NY we dont have any snow....we got yankee cotton. And those darn snow snakes are awful sneaky...if it weren't for their pink eyes you'd never see em slithering . Got a new safari which is still virgin but come the spring look out.m HH
