Looks like my Eurotek Pro will arrive today. Now if I could get rid of this stuff.............

Ah...waiting on a detector delivery! I swear, it seems like waiting on Christmas when I was a kid!...hang in there, skiwhiz.

The big brown truck just dropped it off, put a battery in it to test it out and it is good to go, now just have to wait until the ground thaws and the snow melts. Let us know how yours works when you get it Hank.

Ok skiwiz what do you the of the detector ???? I know you haven't hunted with it but just the looks and feel of it ??
 
Ok open the front door throw your car keys as far out in the snow as you can and go check out that new detector.:teknetics:

The wife and I each had our own Eurotek Pro's last summer and put alot of use on them. We had all 3 coils, 11"DD, 8" concentric and the 5" concentric, all coils worked very good but my preference was the 8" coil, just a good all around coil. We got in a pinch and had to sell off all our things that we could live without so the detectors were sold. I knew that I could get another one with our tax return, which is what I just did. We hunt at school grounds,parks, for coins and jewelry never do any relic or beach hunting. More than happy with the Eurrotek Pro, I am more of a beep & dig guy but find the meter on the ETP pretty dog gone accurate and I am satisfied with the depth it gets, plus it has a fast recovery which is something I like. If I had to find a gripe with the detector and it is not really a gripe I would have the nickel come in with a "beep" as other coins do instead of a vco tone. I honestly can't find any fault with the ETP.
 
Thanks for the review it seems the nickel tone sounds a lot like my golden umax, glad you purchased another one, the detector should be here tomorrow now if I could get over the flew I'll be hunting,HH
