Got out for a quick hunt down the street from my hotel in Pittsford NY. Hunted for about an hour at a little park a stones throw from the Erie Canal. Park was loaded with iron, and I could see multiple plugs from other recent diggers. Still managed to squeak out a 1951 Rosie about seven or eight inches deep. That’s four Silvers for the week. I have about eight hours behind the Manticore now, and am starting to trust what it’s telling me. Still get occasionally fooled by a deep rusty nail. But all four Silvers have been stable in the 80’s, and repeatable from two directions. Also got four clad quarters and two deep memorials.
