I forgot to ask, How do I up load pics, to this site without them being so huge. I took some great pictures of a little finch today and when i posted them on the digital page it really took away from the quality of the photos. Someone, if its not too much trouble please tell me how to make the pictures small. When I open and preview the file it looks great and when i up load them to the site they are huge. Help!>!?!!?!?!? thanks Ronnie

Hey Ronnie,
I use "Lview" to edit my photos before I post them (go to the CMD forum here at the mall to see one). I resize them so that they are 500 X whatever. Lview will let you keep the aspect size true to the original so that you dont distort the photo. Actually, I will post a photo here so that you can see what the picture looks like. I also crop my photos so that you dont have to see all the crap on the peripheral.
Any photo editing software will allow you to do what I've described here.
this little Merc. photo was just cropped out of the whole picture. I didnt adjust its size other than cropping. For a regular size photo, I'll adjust its size as described earlier.

....with programs like Photo Studio is to enhance what you already have. Brightness, contrast, tone adjustments, etc. will help bring out the details, just one of the advantages of digital photography over print film. Easy manipulation of the images.

I dont like messin with the photos, other than size. If a photo doesnt shoot well, I'll just shoot it again. Whenever I've tried adjusting the picture, it just turns out looking...Weird!?!
The biggest problem I've encountered while shooting coins is the finish on the coin. Either is is very dim and dull as in the photo you enhanced, or it is so shiney that the glare makes the picture unviewable.

I do not have web space to host my pictures so I rely on Findmall hosting service and was wondering what the trick is to post more than one picture. Thanks for your help. Marc

Here's one I did a couple of years ago with an earlier Photo Studio program. It was all done with the standard program.... no "Goo" programs or other outside morphing support. Even the most simple ones are pretty versatile if you take the time to learn them.

Thanks Ralph, nice pic. A real "triple threat". HAA.
