Many of you know Chris Tuttle from days gone by, Cap'tin'tut, Chris, passed away on July 31st of this year at the age of 62. We lost contact with the Cap about 7 years ago or so, Chris just stop posting and started back with his music again, he loved his music. I have tried to contact Chris over the years doing all the search things but never had any luck. About six months after I hunted with Chris in Maine Chris just disappeared, his e-mail and phone number were no longer in service but over the years I kept hope that I would find the Cap'tin again but nothing.

Then a week or so ago I was talking to Brian on the phone and we were talking about how cool it was that V-man started posting again when Brian asked me any luck on finding Chris, I said no, Brian said let me give it a shot. Sure enough, if anybody can do it Brian could and did, sad part is our friend passed on back on July 31st.

Chris was a good guy as you all know, one of the best I have ever met on these forums and I'll never forget him, I had my best day ever hunting with Chris on the ghost, a Island not far from the Island Chris lived on and loved, Peaks Island off the coast of Maine.
Chris was a good hunter and I'll never forget what he always told all of us when we were about to take a trip on the road, let the highway be your friend, you'll be missed Cap'tin'tut!

that nasty storm the winter before I made the trip to see him. He still had his dingy but got a friend to drop us off at the Ghost Island towing the dingy.

I had a great time hunting that day with Tut on the ghost, found five first that day. I'll never forget what Chris said to me and we laugh about it after the hunt, I said Cap, what about this area, Cap said oh that area has been picked clean Ray

After that great day we headed back to his Island the Peaks and Chris got some fresh lobsters right off the fishing boat that just came in and Chris's wife made us a dinner to remember :clapping:

Funny how your brain works and stores things.... I know a decade has gone by, but it kind of amazes me how fresh some memories of the old intrepid posters of days gone by can be... Tut being one of them... I even recall at one point making tentative plans with Tut to head on up and visit him for a hunt.... Never ended up doing it, wish I did. RIP
