One of the oldest finds for me, and one of the best:hot:

Me and Darrin was hunting a school that Craig told us about. They use to have old fairgrounds there but most of it had been filled with dirt. I did find the coin on the right there, I think it is a 1957 german coin and a few wheats. We decided to go some place else, so Darrin picked the spot and boy i'm glad i said yes. First few min's out of the car and i get a deep penny hit that hit like silver a few times. It was about 8" down and hard to pin point. It then hit around 3-41 witch was kinda odd to me. Then i seen that small bit of silver. I seen half dime on one side and couldn't believe it. Took it to some water and it was to my surprize a 1842 seated half dime it ggod shape. Found the 40 merc there also. Boy that was sweet find and my first seated and the oldest. Thanks for looking..HH
