One ok sweet coin for short Saturday hunt

Have not hunted much this year but did get out on Saturday for a few hours. Went to a very hunted out park that has delivered some nice coin in the past. After about 2 hours with only 1 wheat, I decided to go to an area that I have never hunted because it looked filled. You guys know the type of area I am talking about (high built up ground around big trees with no roots showing in a small area) Anyway after 5 minutes I receive a shallow high pitch hit

Sweet find, at least you found 2 old coins for the day. Today I hunted a hunted out park/picnic grove that has a pavilion that dates from about 1910 for 5 hours and just got deep clad, not one stinking wheat....:rage: My buddy that hunts with a Whites M6 found a wheatie, a buffalo, and a 1963 dogtag.

Nice find my friend! I, like you, haven't had too much hunting time this year and my meager finds prove it.

Good to see you got out and found a few keepers though- continued success bud!

Hope you and yours are well.

Jeff
