One Piece Union Artillery Button

Hi to all.

Got my XP Deus about 3 weeks ago. I've been out 5 times now hunting the land I live on. Yesterday I returned to a place where I found a single Union General Services button years ago. No other artifacts there since, other than what I believed to be a broken civil war era tent peg. It was lightly raining yesterday but I wanted to get out. I'm glad I did. I found a one piece Union Artillery button fairly close to where I found the general services button. I had just dug a 9mm slug that someone had fired who knows when. I had moved no more than 3 feet when I got another signal somewhat like the signal I got on the 9mm slug. But the second signal was more corrupted with iron mixed in. Loud but messy. Still the high tones were prominent in the iron mix. I didn't have much hope but I dug anyway and out popped the Eagle Artillery. There is a fair amount of gold gilt left on the front and the gilt on the back is almost completely in tact, though it doesn't show well in the pic. No makers mark, just a ring of stars.

The only other artifact I dug yesterday is what I believe to be a barrel tap broken off on both ends near the valve portion (also pictured).

There is another iron infested place on our land where I have dug many flat buttons in the past including tombacs. I also found a few silver coins there with the oldest being a 1783 half real. I hunted this place hard and the finds ultimately petered out. Well I've been back with the Deus and have dug 13 more flat buttons that I know I should have found with my other detectors. I'm hoping I eventually come across another old silver coin or a gold one. Now I'm getting greedy. Love the Deus.
