It just happened to be a very old 18 cents worth. 1904 Barber dime, 5 IHs, 3 wheats. The IH dates are 1897,1899,1901,1906 and one no date.
I'm hunting an area that is basically a ghost town. There was a school, church, store and 12 house in a quarter mile. Now there's only 3 houses. Lot's more land to cover. <img src="/metal/html/shocked.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":shock">

Here's a pic of the site I'm now detecting. The store is at the bottom of the photo. You can just see the roof of it. The people that gave me the permission live in the dark house in the middle of the photo. There is a modern day bridge where the road crosses the creek. The boardwalk and walk bridge are long since gone. All the other buildings in this pic are also gone now. There is quite a bit of meadow out of the pic to the left that is part of what I have permission on. The school and church would be way off to the left of this pic as well. Cool Huh! I wish I had old pics of all the sites I hunt.
