"Mastering the Explorer XS & S" by Andy Sabisch.
I've been using my XS for about 2 years now. Is this a book for beginners or would I still find lots of useful info in the book?
I've seen it on Ebay but I can't seem to find it in any online retailers like Barnes & Noble or Borders/Amazon. If you know a good place to purchase it, let me know.
I know Andy posts here and I don't mean to stir anything up, (no offense intended, Andy!) I just want to know if this is a newbie book or what.

no it is not a nebe book,it is like the owners man. but on each page Andy give an in depth explanation get the book its a good read. I gave my copy to Gilly in ill.

I have read and keep the book as part of my collection on detectors. I consider the book as the best for new to advanced users of the Explorer series of detectors. It picks up where the Owner's Manual stops and explains many areas of the Manual that is not that clear. I consider this and Jeff Foster's book on the DFX and MattR's book on the DFX to be some of the best material on detectors I have read in additon to explaining the use and operation of those detectors.
Mastering the XS & S should be carried by most distributors and many dealers for Minelab. It should be included with all Explorer detectors plus the Swingy Thingy and a really first rate pair of headphones. I confess to not being pleased with the Koss headpnones, at all, amen.
