Should be here Friday. Got the gold pkg with a free Plugger's Rod with stand. Better than the stuff you get at Kellyco. I am hoping by time I get my new knee wore in and Doc cuts me loose from this walker it will cool off enough here in Arkansas to start hunting with it. Heats been real bad this summer. Could not have picked a better time to get a new knee. Its going to be interesting to see what my ACE 250 has missed. I hope i will start finding more civil war items. When i do get started i will post my finds.

Congratulation's great choice you will love it and will have many great finds Good Hunting

I got mine last May. Still learning how to use it, but it's been fun. Keep us posted.

I think you will be more than pleased. Of course I'm rather biased on this detector:detecting:

Can't wait to hear what you find! Have fun!

Ordered my 705 yesterday. Replacing my Quattro, which is too slow for my style of hunting, plus it's a heavy sucker. Looking forward to swinging something lighter. Thanks to all who have posted tips and information on the x-terra 70(5) over the years. Really helped in making my decision to go with the 705. Now I just need to make time to get out and use it when it gets here next week.

Just got one on Saturday put about 8 hours on it over weekend. Seems like it going to be a great machine.

While you are recuperating do what I'm doing and you'll be glad you did and learn the machine quicker. Everyday I look at my panel and ask myself what each button can do. If I don't remember, I look it up until I can answer the question. As you'll find out, some of the buttons have numerous functions. The machine can do alot.

Hi, wiimii. Here's another thing you might try while you're waiting on the weather and your knee. I bought a 70 several months ago. I sat down with a bunch of targets, including some gold jewelry and made a chart of the numbers that showed on the screen when I ran the item under the coil. This gave me a visual reference to help when I went out hunting, and a little practice listening to the tones. Anyway, good luck with your knee and your new detector. Skip

I got mine last week as a back up for my etrac. I have to say i am amazed how good this machine is. I love it
