ORX and Hot Rocks

I saw a foreign language video showing the ORX picking up a hot rock which the Deus ignored. Unfortunately, I could not understand the conversation. Does anyone know if hot rocks can be eliminated or identified with an ORX?

Just using the disc should do it. I was using the nox with +1 disced out and my buddy using his deus, he was hitting hot rocks hard until he changed his disc setting. The nox was silent when waving a hot rock over coil... Can't remember how much disc he needed but it worked..

ground notch feature should do it, not sure if ORX has the feature. sure it does being it was created as a gold machine.

Finally able to download a copy of the manual. From just a quick glance, it appears that anything that reads below 35 on the meter is either iron or coke. I suppose coke would include hot rocks but the manual does not specifically say.

I finally found the manual. It has iron tone and iron volume but I don't see anything about a notch feature.

Coke and hot rocks are totally different.
Coke is like coal and rejected using the discrimination.
Hot Rock is a natural stone and rejected using the ground balance.
I hope this helps.

Well explained Gary, I have found some bricks from fireplaces at old home sites are reactive like natural hot rocks as well.
