...We took him in to the vet's,and she gave him a shot,and he went to sleep in my wife's arms-didnt take long,he was ready to go.About 2:30 P.M.today,he became a member of Dog Heaven,,,,We sure do miss him,even though it was the right thing-the ONLY THING-to do for him.Before we left for the vet's,I told him I was SO VERY SORRY we had to do this,and if there was anything I could do to change it;I would.He had been so sick lately,and I wouldnt want him back the way he was in the end.He did everything with us,and there will be a BIG void in our lives for a long time.Take care everybody,Steve

Back to normal(If it exists for us now);but we will be OK-My wife told me "thank you for being there for me thru this",and I told her "One of the job descriptions of being a good husband is being beside his wife through the bad and the good"...There are a good # of husbands out there that fail to see how much it means to their wives that they are there beside them in times like this...THE LORD has shown me what it means to be a REAL husband.AMEN!!!....PS:HEY MIKE-Did ya get that book yet??Let me know-Steve!!!
