CloseTareq and Michaele Salahi, a Northern Virginia couple with possible roles in the forthcoming "Real Housewives of D.C.," crashed the White House state dinner Tuesday night, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.
The "polo-playing socialites" posted Facebook photos of themselves at the event. "But a White House official said the couple was not invited to the dinner, not included on the official guest list and never seated at a table in the South Lawn tent."
The New York Times contacted Edwin Donovan, a spokesman for the Secret Service, who said "initial findings identified a Secret Service checkpoint which did not follow proper procedures."
