Our Perpetual Wish List...:blush:

So often we come to God, with what I call our perpetual wish list; our list for healing, for improved relationships, for a better job or a job period, for a nicer place to live, or our desire to own this or that. But how often do we come to God with a heart of gratitude, for all He has done in our lives? So often we humble ourselves in prayer, when there something we need or want in our lives; when things are going wrong. But when things are going well, how often do we take the time to say 'Thank You Heavenly Father'. Even those of us who suffer with pain, loneliness, and frustration, don't do all we should to show our gratitude for all He's done in our lives. So it is with that in mind that I offer this poem today.

WE PRAISE YOU HOLY FATHER, WE PRAISE YOU HOLY SON, WE PRAISE YOU HOLY SPIRIT - THREE PERSONS GOD IN ONE
WE THINK OF OUR MANY BLESSINGS AND THANK YOU FOR EACH ONE
WE PRAISE YOU HOLY FATHER FOR GIVING US JESUS CHRIST YOUR SON
WE PRISE YOU HOLY FATHER FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE

LORD WE LOVE YOU IN THE MORNING, WE LOVE YOU NOONTIME TOO, WE LOVE YOU IN THE EVENING - ALL NIGHT THROUGH
WE LOVE YOU HOLY FATHER FOR ALL THAT YOU DO
WE LOVE YOU LORD JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE YOU

WE LOVE YOU HOLY FATHER, WE LOVE YOU HOLY SON, WE LOVE YOU HOLY SPIRIT - THREE PERSONS GOD IN ONE
WE THINK OF YOUR COMMANDMENTS AND TRY TO LIVE EACH ONE
WE LOVE YOU HOLY FATHER FOR GIVING US LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST YOUR SON
WE LOVE YOU HOLY FATHER FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE
