Went to the River today, was surprised to see a new dock built where the sand beach used to be. You can drift your canoe or Kayak right up o n the dock to get out of the water. All of the treasures will fall Thur the cracks never to be seen again. It will be nice for the rafters coming in also. I still found some loot today at the end of the dock, 2 small rings and the same old junk.
The ring with the stone tested 14k. Here are some of the pics. before and after.

THANKS FOR LOOKING

Our local beach was replenished with tons of sand this past summer making hunting almost impossible, the jewelry and old rings are way beyond reach of our detectors. It was so bad this summer that lots of people were getting stuck in the deep sand. In yesterday's paper I was reading where they are now adding another 70,000 cubic yards of sand, that's about another 7,000 dump truck loads, it'll be years before it gets better for hunting IF they don't add anymore sand....well, they are other places to hunt here on the Texas Gulf Coast....HH

Hey Joe, Hows it going? That float up ramp is good for all the kyacker or tubers. Should make for some good finds come summer.
Been real slow down this way. But, there always the usual dozen or so snowbirds detecting the beaches make dry sanding crowded. Cant wait until the crowds hit take to the waters again.

Take cae, see you around the beaches.
