Out to the windy beach again today for my daily stroll ..found a silver"wanna be" :(

It was a sunny , but windy high tide kinda morning.

Hunted the sand , which was frozen after the first 6 " deep , but I proceeded undaunted by this little annoyance.

I saw this ring laying on its side in about 4 inches down; at first I thought it was another top to those little "nips" alcohol bottles, but I decided to move its position and found it to be a nice shiny , new-like ring.....but .........it was jussssssssssst a little tooooooooo shiny..and no stamping inside so I knew that it was not bona fide silver...I took it anyway..it is pretty, but worthless to me... I 'll give it to one of my piano students for her birthday.

also found the usual crusty "clads"

Tomorrow I'll be going back to the beach where I found that gold class ring.....maybe ..or maybe not I'll get lucky again.

You teach piano? My wife Vicky gave lessons for a couple of years (while she was going for her Masters in Education). Now she teaches 4th grade gifted kids I tried giving guitar lessons for a while but it's just not my thing

Yes, I teach piano privately in my home.

I taught music in elementary school for 11 years..loved every minute of it.....was more fun than work.

Preparing students for Spring Recital now..Bach, Beethoven, Kabalevsky, etc.

Guitar? I love that instrument..can't play it , but love to listen to it

i have the terra--x--70 and the advantage.great detectors.also have a whites mxt,and a cz-20 for the beach.
