Outlaw finds old token and chinese coin.

I was in the home town visiting and decided to try a new spot. They had just had the town fair and I wanted to try the lot where they have been parking for as long as I can remember. It belongs to a friend and he said no problem. I got there parked and took out my Outlaw with the 8" coil. On the first swing, the first target (no joke) was a small lead pellet. I rescaned the hole and turned up this great token. It says Julius Buhlert, good for 1 drink, West point Calif on one side and Jacob Strahle & co, billiards mfr's, 515 market street, San Francisco Calif on the other. It is in excellent condition and the best I can tell is from around 1890. I danced a little jig and figured I had found the mother load of old coins. I kept searching and after about 10 min turned up this Chinese coin, the info is on the pic. I didnt find any more there but know it is. I will be going back and doing a very slow search to see what else I can turn up. This place is a knight mare to search. Its that nasty hard red clay that makes the detector chatter and its loaded with iron and old trash. The token was at about 5" and the coin at about 7". sorry about the pics I dont have a good camera.

Nice finds there machine man, believe or not in the state of maine we find those chinese coins as well, found a 1800's emperor version last summer and have had friends all around the state finding, just make me wonder how they got here on the east coast?

Nice going machineman ! Looks like you know you really know
how to work the Outlaw through the trash to get the goodies.
Good hunting to you next time out ! Gene

Chinese were brought in to work on railroads and thats the reason these coins turn up now and then in the good old U.S.A....found one in Pa. myself from the 1700's..
Nice duo finds and just love old tokens also....
