I know that this may sound like a dumb question...but DetectorPro, Surfscanner, Head Hunter, Aquastar Goldquest...are these all the same line from one mfgr.? I have been using Excaliburs, Sovereigns and Explorer for about ten years and thinking of going for a PI...but I don't think I understand them ( I didn't understand my first minelab either though)
 
Yes, these are Eric Foster designs. Surfscanner is US sales company, Headhunter and Detector Pro are same thingh. There is differences in their capabilities. Click on Surfscanner link this forum and look at models.
