Park Silver for 705

Went to my local City Park yesterday for a couple of hours to do some hunting. I hunted the totlot for a few minutes and picked up a couple of clad quarters, dimes and pennys. I decided to hunt the main part of the park which is very trash so I turned my sensitivity down to around 23 on the 705 and began to hunt. I was using the 5X10 HF DD Coil that seemed to be separating targets pretty well. I dug a few more clad coins and decided to hunt the strip of grass between the sidewalk and the street. I had found a silver dime in that general area once before so I was hoping that I could get off unlucky #13 for 2012. I started picking up a little clad close to the sidewalk and then got a nice high tone with a 40/42 VDI. I dug down around 4 inches and popped out this nice little 1936 Mercury Dime.

Clad count was 6 quarters, 7 dimes, 1 nickel, and 32 pennys. Good day overall !!

silver dimes are fine....the strips between the side walk and road are great spots /being a old bus stop even better....Bob:thumbup:
