Park This Morning

Boony

New member
Hit the park this morning for a couple of hours, nothing exciting just a few of our local coins $37.90, still got a lot of the park to do.

All the best.....Boony

O.K., I'm jealous - how much is that in U.S. dollars? Are older Australian coins made of silver, like here?

Hi Swingman,

The $37.90AUD converts to $29.63USD, and yes our old predecimal coin are silver, a bit few and far between now but I have a sand dune in Hobart in Southern Tasmania that seems to yield a few every time I give it a go. What I would really like to dig up is a few gold sovereigns, I have a nice one in my coin collection but it was given to me, however I still live in hope of digging one someday.

All the best....Boony
