I know this was not used in our little southern town. Must have come in with a traveler from somewhere else and years ago too. Nice patina on it and in fairly nice shape. Size wise it's hair larger than a US quarter. Found it using the small 5.75 inch concentric on the Vaquero I picked up a few weeks back. Buried about 5 inches down it was sideways in a clump of sandy soil when it came up. The spot was one I'd passed over a number of times with the larger coil in an area filled with nails and rusted old iron chunks. Guess this was a lucky find that I hit at just the right angle for a short but hard signal.
