Pastor put me on the spot Yesterday in church-:unsure:

The pastor said after service-"HEY STEVE!!!GET UP HERE AND TELL US ABOUT THE FUN NIGHT YOU ARE PLANNING!!"...The place was PACKED;tooSO:I got up there;and flapped my jaws about what I had planned-Bring all my finds;my detectors;talk about them;how they work!!...Ya know;I have NO problem singin in front of people;but Talkin;now...ANYWAY:::They all thought it was a GREAT idea...SO:Next Sunday I am gonna do this:I am going to tell the congregation I am going to plant some modern -and-not-so-modern-coins I found;and some new silver(none less than 10 or 25cents);some of my toy cars and trucks I found;and I'll have LOTS of cheap rings I found planted all over the church yard;and have all the kids;one by one;recover the targets;and keep them.I went up there yesterday and did some swinging;and found a couple of targets(coins) that are 2-3 inches deep;and we are gonna recover them.Even some of the adults told me"I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOUR DISPLAY CASES AND WHAT YOU'VE FOUND!!"There will be snacks served;I think it will be a GREAT event!!

Great idea, they will love it! Just plant all your goodies shallow, and in an area where you have flags so you can easily get the leftovers when you are done! It is alot of fun to do this for kids. I have done it a few times and am scheduled to do it again in July!
