Could someone let me know who makes good PI detectors and / if there is a test report for those or a site that did test them? I am looking for a single type unit, not a 2 box type.

Hi Thomas,
There are many good PI units on the market by several different manufacturers at various price levels. It really depends on what you want to find, and where. There are underwater PI's for diver use; shallow water units, beach units, gold prospecting units and also cache hunters. Let us know which area you are interested in and what you want to spend, then we can direct you to the right PI for the job.
