PI Schematics request

Hi everybody,
I have a question for you about PI metal detectors plans available.
A little preamble: I'm a computer engineer with the hobby of electronics and in the past I had the chance to repair/set-up/and test some units of the ib, drop-out (vlf) / variable reluctance, bfo , off-resonance types but never PI.
When I have some spare time (not a lot actually) and it's rain...I build electronic circuits.
I'm dealing now with the stuart's pi (pic).
I think that this circuit has a number of interesting features.
It's drifting a little and...I don't know if I can fix this problem.
Anyway...
I would like to try some different schematic also.
Can anyone suggest some useful schematics that has some improvements over the traditionals that are in listed in the Geotechnology page ???
Thanks a lot,
Massimo

Thank you Piotr,
i'll try this new schematic soon

Look at Gary's Pulse Induction website, he has good PI to build, with PCB board and kits. Hy is also under CHEMELEC. Good Luck

Hello, Was wondering if you ever got a PI circuit to build. I am also interested in building a PI circuit. I am interested in building a small, simple circuit that is small enough to use in a pinpointer. Any circuit would be fine to start as I can find nothing. Good luck to you and thanks for any help. Ron
