Pic of the silver ring from earlier, and of a second ring found tonight at the same park...

[attachment 194084 tworings.JPG]Went back to that same park where the medieval fair was held, hunted for about 1 1/2 hours; found some more clad and a second ring -- this one is 18K gold plated, not as nice as the first, but I'm thrilled to be in a spot that is yielding some jewelry. Hope to head back tomorrow for another short hunt before work.

The one from earlier this morning is on the left, .925 silver with a stone (onyx?); the second with what are likely inexpensive gemstones is on the right.

Nice rings. My wife likes the one on the left !

Hey McDave --

Guess my wife did, too. It's already in her jewelry stash! I have heard about guys that barely make it in the door before their wives are digging through their finds pouch; I've never been that good -- but it didn't take her long to snag that one! I went back to the same spot this morning and ran my "other" machine :) for an hour or so, and found a little necklace pendant that says "Queen Elizabeth the Second" on both sides, and has her image on it; don't think it's gold, though -- looks like maybe bronze. Still, this spot is giving up the jewelry!

at least they could have done was left you one of the 18K that wasnt GP. Those wives love the sparkles and im cautious to show mine the really good ones.... they get sticky fingers.
