I understand there are several pick digging tools on the market. Many notables I see recommend a hefty model.
I'm not versed in the types available nor can I shop for one here in my village. Would one of you share with me their choice of picks and where I may purchase one.
 
Doc here on this forum carries some of the best. His web site isn't up to date but give him a call, talk to Gus, and he'll get up set up. Go for a heavy duty one, but not necessarily one with the long handle. The mid sized Walco, or what used to be Walco, is a good choice. I think he still shows that one on the web site. If not Walco, then he has one very similar.
