Picked up a set of auvios wireless. The tones are deeper

Picked up a set for $24.99 on close out. I was used to a set of sonys on ear with a cord. They were very detailed in the tones. The new auvios seem to be a lower pitch as if they were made for bass more than highs. They just sound totally different. I have been finding stuff but afraid I might be missing some stuff. I turned down the detectors(xterra 705)headphone volume down to 24-25 so I could get rid of the hum that they had.

Could I swap maybe a smaller set of speakers of the same ohm value? Or do you think it would stay the same lower tones? Even on the home system it has a bassy sound compared to the sonys.
