Pics from around my house/or land........

After talking about photography with Liz (or mentioning it), and others posting some pictures they had taken, I thought I would get off my lazy behind and post a few I have taken. I have hundreds of pics, but I am posting only a few that I could get to with a couple of clicks. Probably aren't my best ones, but I have to go with the easy access. ALL of these were either taken on my property or within a couple of miles of my house. Since we can only post 6 at a time, I will post the first 6 in my "easy access file" and then will post more later.

This is our pond, just about half way down the hill from my house:

This is the Mill Dam, on our St. Clair Co. property (the land in my stories where those murders happened):

This is "Rock Bridge" - on our other land in St. Clair County... from the murder stories. Water is muddy because of a BIG rain we'd just had:

There is a chapel on top of Chandler Mountain that belongs to a Methodist Camp (close to my house) - here is a shot looking out from back of the chapel:

I'll stop with this last batch. Don't want anyone to get sick of looking. I have some much better (quality) pics... somewhere. Maybe I'll look for them and post them later.

Oh My Gosh...Girl...It Looks Like A Slice of Heaven! My Goodness! talk about places to metal detect! I noticed the cement under the tree base and wondered what may be behind it? I noticed the old chapel and wondered how many coins must have been dropped over the years and how many must have slowed their pace as they approached the covered bridge. I can also see why you've got so many snakes, as there's water everywhere! But...Oh...What beautiful surroundings you've been blessed with and to daily witness the grandeur of God's creation everywhere...You're blessed out of your socks girl.

Shew! And you think I want to post pics after all that!?! Lol. Beautiful pictures.....and people wonder why we will only live in the sticks. I wouldn't trade lack of conveniences for the beauty of the country for ANYTHING. SeniorSeeker is right, you are once blessed chick! I'll try to work on posting some pics later. Don't ya wish this forum has the photo uploader Facebook has? I love that one. I have a Nikon DSLR that has some huge files and I can usually upload fine quality there without resizing my files in photoshop. Plus, I can upload 200 pics at a time!

What a total difference from the desert here. Sure does look like you live in heaven on earth ! thx for the pics, steve in so az

Ok Ok, I am moving down yonder by that there creek or is it crick! Pretty pictures you have there, At the Cross, at the Cross, where we first saw the light, that was a pretty picture!

Thos eare some really good pictures . Looks alot like the land around here. Those pictures make me want to get out and hike, fish , and camp. Thanks for sharing them with us.

What kind of camera do you have? You and Doug, Brian's dad, sure have the natural scenes around you. All treasures aren't metal. I hope you appreciate what you have! By the way, with you being a woman I wouldn't tell on an open forum where I go running. However, as a country gal you take a defensive position, if you know what I mean?
May God Bless you and yours,
Paul(NWOH)

Lisa, enjoyed the pics...The little old church with the Cross is beautiful,I had to show it to Lana she loves it also maybe you can take some pics at Christmas time...All the pics are good....I bet some good Sermons were Preached in there and wow what fine places to detect....hh.....God Bless......Dan

I can see right now that my wife and I will have to make a trip to that wonderful land of yours. God does beautiful work that is for sure. God Bless and thanks again for the pictures.

Great colorful pics Liz and I don't see anything wrong with them at all! Your land looks a lot like the land in the OZARKS and is beautiful! Love the water and scenery ones, but you can keep the crawly critters but be careful when out walking! I agree with Paul NWO when you were telling were the roads and areas are that you use....I thought OH, NO.....I hope God keeps her safe from the critters and the two legged varmits that would want or try to do her harm! Wonderful pics! :) May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
