Here's a link for a program to download your pictures from your camera. It renames them on the fly, rotates jpg files without losing anything of the image, extracts and shows the settings you were using when the picture was taken and does a host of things that are normally a pain in the ass for a camera that might name files in an arbitrary and repetitive way...
It's not free but comes with a 15 day trial. $18 to buy it. Pretty popular program with the digital camera buffs..
