Pictures from 1st week with ACE250

New member
Attached are pictures of my finds. I added a silver Washington Quarter, silver Roosevelt dime and 6 more wheats today.[attachment 84363 coins1.jpg][attachment 84364 coins4.jpg][attachment 84365 coins5.jpg][attachment 84366 coins7.jpg][attachment 84367 coins8.jpg] I hope I added the pictures correctly. The gold ring next to the quarter was earlier this month with my brothers old White's Classic II. Total for the month of March.
3 Indian Head cents
24 Wheat cents
170 Memorial cents
6 Jefferson nickles
30 clad dimes
2 silver Roosevelt dimes
3 Mercury dimes
13 clad quarters
1 silver Washington quarter
1 14kt gold ring 6.7 grams
I really like the Ace250, it's much easier than the older machines I had in the past and get better depth. I have noticed that nickles sound different than any other coins, very distinctive, and the visual indicator is right on. I have several other homes in the same age to hunt, hopefully with as good results. I am also going to hunt an old turpentine mill and stable, both gone since the 30's. Neither area has ever been hunted. Any suggestions on using the relic mode for these sites.

Great finds, always great to find silver and gold!!!

Love those Mercs...........

GREAT haul for sure. Where exactly are you hunting again??? And not to break a bubble but don't think a place has "never" been hunted. Detectors have been around a looooonnnnngggg time. Any where is bound to have had someone there before. But always hope it was with a lesser machine or they didn't have a clue as to what they were doing. Looks like you were the first to find some great stuff Rainman.

My grandfather owned the property, then my parents, and now me, that's why I know they haven't been hunted before.

Yeah tectors have been around since Fisher first came out with one in 1931. It has been hunted by someone at some time unless it's been under lock and key for the past 70 years or so. When I can think of it I'll drag out a pic of Fisher's first detector. It was made entirely of wood, including the coil.

And that is a great way to have a place you know is "sacred"........Good luck on your future hunts. Where did you say that was again.?? ehehe.

Very nice

You are very lucky to have a hot spot, and you seem to be getting some great finds at it also. Congrats on the silver.:clapping:
