went on what we thought was going to be a civil war hunt and found a piece of eight research says 1707-1711...7 flat buttons two with gold gilt, what looks like a trigger,and a bunch of small round balls (pistol) Guess the site was older then we thought..lmao

The item that looks like a trigger is actually a bayonet scabbard frog stud (locket).

thank you for that ID laserfeller....after a lot of digging around i found that out... I'm going back out there tomorrow..maybe i'll find the rest..
