pin pointers?

Ya know, I hunted for 30 years before I got myself an electronic probe. Like lots of guys, I didn't see the point. Heck, my eyes are good, I pinpoint well and I can dig a hole as fast as the next guy. After getting one about 5 years ago, I can honestly say I won't leave home without it! It is hot on the tip, and detects a small coin at about 3/4 of an inch. Just the right depth. Any less would not help me out and any more would defeat the purpose. It has increased the time I spend looking for new targets by hours. Instead of crawling around on the ground, looking in the plug, fumbling through the loose dirt, checking the hole and then going back again to the loose dirt, I simply sweep around the plug and hole with my probe. Sure, silver always jumps out at you from a dark hole. But sometimes those small targets you are not expecting take forever to find! It saves me time in finding those small items and helps keep me from scratching a coin with my digging tool. The VibraProbe is waterproof and works on any detector. I've tried a couple of those probes that work in series with the coil on specific detectors. Although they are expensive, they are pretty good. My problem was that I kept forgetting to flip the trigger back and ended up wandering around with the probe still turned on. The VibraProbe turns itself on when you hold it upside down for a second. And shuts itself off when it hasn't detected metal for a couple minutes. Yep, I won't leave home without it. HH Randy
