pin pointing tip

Coming from a whites vx3 with dx-1 a month ago pin pointing wasnt a issue. Now I have a se pro and read if you pin point a target and slowly pull your coil back towards you when it silents your target will be at the end of your coil...my recover has been 100% since.

I hardly ever use the pinpoint button .. I just swing backwards back and forth until it silences. Works every time (almost) :detecting:..

I do the same as McDave from two opposite angles and only use the pinpoint button on a real deepie......piece of cake once you get the hang of it...Explorers can be as easy or hard as you want them to be...

any good tips for when you are using the large (EXcelerator 11) round 18" coil?

Me to! Use pin point in a trashy combo underground. I can pinpoint a dime 10" with my 15" WOT just by swinging back and forth moving backwards till the sounds dissappears! Not Hard. ;)
