Pinfire shotgun cartridge

I was out to the same spot as where I had gotten the tokens and about 15 yards away another full sound. It had a little iron sound around it but the center of the sound was just right. I was running sounds only again. Out came this pinfire shotgun shell cartridge. I don't know if running sounds only is the significant change I made to more finds or if it is the ground balancing. To ground balance I turned the sensitivity up to full, switched to the GB and turned it down to about 70. I raised the coil up and down to the ground and listened to the sound. I raised the ground balance until the sound disappeared. I read this method here and it really seems to work; thanks to all who post their knowledge of detecting. The detector can be set to run hot or cold by running the numbers a little high or low; I have been running right in the middle with no sound in the GB.

Wow that is a awesome and rare find.
Congrats.

I'll give your GB method a try.

I didn't mention it but don't forget to turn the sensitivity back down after you have set your GB.
