OK here's my question, Santa was good to me as in he couldn't figure out what to get me so i got the alternative..so my question is this, being in central Fla and hunting mostly at the beaches with going inland sometimes and going up north when weather is warmer, which pin pointer would be best between the Garrett pin pointer or the detector pro pistol; pointer? anyhelp would be great
thanks
john

Dewtector pistol pro is deeper from vids I have watched, but the garret is a nice machine as well and it can get wet. I just bought and Etrac with a Sunray x-1 on it and I love it but then it is mounted and dedicated to that machine. R U using more than one machine?

I use the Garrett Pro Pointer and quite like it, I must admit I have limited experience using other P P's. Like Dig says do you have more than one machine, what % water, wet or dry land and what price $ range.

I have the predecesor to the pistol probe(uniprobe pocket) when it busts i'll be in line for a pistol probe though, the probe is on a wire and is 100% waterproof, great depth too, don't know why they stopped making them:confused:
