Pinpoint mode

Anyone noticed that the ID numbers and cross hair are more stable or accurate while in pinpoint mode on the Explorer SE?
Could this be because pinpoint mode is detecting all metals and less filtering or because the gain and sensitivity might be maxed out?

Likely because you are not in motion mode. The machine has a very narrow id.... and just because it locks on to something doesnt mean its the target you were after. It still giving us the tones and the smartscreen.... so its still processing unlike some other machines that just tells you there is something there. That means they go deeper because they dont have to process anything but a tone. I dont think the gain and sensitivity is maxed out or there would be places you just couldnt use pinpoint because EMI would still affect it.
