When you are digging these items in the clay, what kind of tool are you using? I would think the clay is rock hard and would be a tough one to penetrate. Great bunch of finds MrChile and can't wait until your next time out to see what other kinds of treasures you bring back and post. Good Luck and HH. Congrat's on your Indian Head Penny also and it looks like an 1895! WTG!!!

Remember I hunt water- Iv'e got the water on my side..........the clay is only hard when the water has dryed up.
Fan the bottom with my hand - And use an under water vibra probe to pinpoint target. But this tecnique limits you to how deep you go under water........... unless you use scubba gear.
