Platinum,Any Good??

Yes it is a good detector, it is presently Bountyhunters best. Won't work in wet saltwater sand or surf, but other than that, you would be very happy with it. I have a Gamma 6000 which looks exactly like the Platinum, but it has been "tweaked" by First Texans Instruments and also has a manual ground balance, among other things.. It is an improvement over the Platinum, but the Platinum will pretty much act like the Gamma in general hunting, which is really, really good.
