<img src="/metal/html/grin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":grin"> With the time I have put on the Patypus(Approx. a month and a half) I'm not gonna tell you it goes any deeper than the stocker but in my experience so far I can vouch for it and say I can pick thru trashy areas better than the stocker can....
Maby I need nore time on that coil to really know ???
Any other Platypus users ????????

This is just an estimation but it seems to be about right on when trying to compare an elliptical to a round coil.
Take the width of the coil 8.5 inches add the length 11.5 inches = 20 inches and divide by 2 = 10.
SO, the Platypus which is an 8.5 inch X 11 inch coil should act like, and get the same depth as a 10 inch round coil.
Take care!

I went back to the stock coil yesterday because my finds decrease and I wasn't getting the depth of the stock coil. As a result I found 1 Barber Quarter, 1 Barber Dime, 1 merc, 1 IH and several deep wheats. Would I have found them with the platypus coil? Who know. HH
