Play Ground This Morning

Boony

New member
Hi Guys,

Searched a play ground this morning, picked up $8.00 in clads and a couple of rings, one nice rose gold the other Stirling silver.

All the best....Boony

Hi Scully,

Compared to your loot the rest of us are not even scratching the surface.

All the best....Boony

Looks like a fun way to spend the day and you were rewarded quite nicely for the effort you put into it. Continued success and Good Luck and HH.

Hi diggingfix,

I managed around $1300 last year so it's a little better than pocket money, my Daughter reckons it's like walking outside every day and picking up a Twenty Dollar note.
There is some talk down here of getting rid of the Five Dollar note and making a $5 coin, I can hardly wait. The two buck coin is only about as big as your dime but about twice as thick so they hide nicely in the grass.

All the best.....Boony

The Aussie 5 dollar coin has been out for years. The Aussie 1 and 2 dollar coins are bronze and aluminum alloy are not a clad coin as they are consistent in their composition all the way through.

:beers:

Hi Dave,

The only Five Dollar coins I have seen are commemoratives, I'm hoping they will become general circulation coins and I hope they make them small.

Boony,

Yes , you're right.

I always thought the the two I had were the done thing as they are considered legal tender.

Couldn't imagine a pocket full of those babies.

Lets hope they don't make them smaller than the $2 coins.

If they are, it would make sense. If they weren't it would also make sense.

David
