Playa del Carmen

Circle C Digger

Found some nice jewelry at Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. A Gold and Silver bracelet, a gold wedding ring and plenty of Mexican and European coins. Not bad for about 3 hours worth of detecting.

I went on a business trip. GE held their 2007 National Sales Meeting in Mexico. I say one thing, the locals working at the hotel did not like me detecting on the beach. I noticed that they rake it clean every morning. They were worried that I would find some good before them. I guess they were right.

Looked more like a pleasure, as opposed to a business trip! By rake it clean, do you mean they get out and detect it?

Every morning hotel workers with big rakes would comb the beach clean. I am sure that they hit the jackpot on a daily basis. They collect junk and jewelry, which was left by unlucky tourists. I started detecting in the late afternoons when everyone left the beach for dinner. I used a LED light to see the MD display. I had the whole beach to myself.
