Bought it for a demo model to play with and re learn from my old f-75. All I can say is WOW! Boost and cash mode really get depth. Seems to be allot more stable than my old one too. Time will tell. Need to play with it more. So far it may just be a "permanent" demo model for me!...lol

hey stoopstroop, after I bought my LTD I bragged so much abought it my dealer got himself one too!!!!

Ha ha... thats good stuff! I wish it wasn't so freakin cold here. I really want to get it out and really test it. Seems to me smoother than my old one. Not so chattery. Hope that is just not in my head.

Trust me, it is not in your head. You will love the LTD. The boost process alone is worth the price of admission. A buddy and I hunted an old homestead last year where the grass was two feet tall. We both were trying to force our coils down but the grass made it impossible. He gave up and I started finding targets. He was amazed. He and three friends had tried to hunt in the tall grass and found nothing. The boost cut right through the air gap and I was in business. Guys have probably seen my posts where I say the LTD will drag you over a row in a bean or corn field because the edge caught a signal over in the next row while you were hunting. Good luck, and please keep us posted.

I picked up my LTD late in the fall and also landed a GBSE .
Splitting time between them and a short season did not help but i really like them both.
Hunting in a park with a bud he found a target and called me over .
As i swept the LTD , it sounded like it was 3 inches deep loud and clear
Lifting the coil off the ground and unplugging my head phones others were surprised to
see the coil 5 inches off the ground and still banging hard.
Oh by the way the wheaty was 9 inches deep,

One word on the 9 inch Wheat and 5 inch air gap does not mean
it will hit the Wheat at 9+5 = 14 inches in the ground .
It will help when in high grass or brush ,big time.
